What I Have I Give Campaign

“What I Have I Give” is a campaign that helps you discover the value of what you have, and hopefully inspires you action. We want to maximize the impact of your talents. There are many ways of taking action. Last year we had people donating their birthdays or their wedding anniversaries to raise fund for VCSL. You can do a marathon or bikeathon, host an event, or sell some handmade goodies. Whatever talent you have is valuable and together we can make a difference!

How can I collect money?

Simply share your Justgiving What I Have I Give page to your friends and ask people to donate via credit card. This saves your time on admin work and you can track donation records easily. If you aren’t a big fan of technology, you can also collect cash and cheques on behalf of VCSL and submit it after your party.

Tech-savvy option - Credit card

Create your own page on Justgiving and direct your friends to the link to donate.

Sample message, if you donate your birthday:

Hi guys, It’s my birthday coming up next month and I’d like to celebrate it by donating it to an organization called The Vine Community Services (VCSL) – a charity that helps refugees in HK. What do I mean by donating my birthday? It means you don’t need to buy me present, but instead you can make a donation to VCSL via my birthday champion. My goal is to raise HK$5000 to the charity. Advantages of the tech-savvy option

  • You know the fundraising result immediately.
  • The webpage can generate a donor list.
